  • After-School Program, Going Green

Going green is fun at St. Francis. Here, students get hands on experience in learning what it truly means to practice stewardship for the earth.

Victoria Valentin, St. Francis After-School Academic Coordinator, began a recycling program with the enthusiastic help of the After-School program students. At St. Francis, community involvement is a part of the mission statement that is exemplified to the students.

The next step for Victoria and the students at the after school program, is building a sustainable, organic garden. Want to be apart of something positive?

Volunteer and/or donate to the St. Francis After-school program by visiting St. Francis.

As a parent, what characteristics do you look for when researching an after-school/summer program? Perhaps it’s the one-on-one positive, motivating attention the staff provides, the mentoring capabilities that the staff embodies, or if you are more into numbers, maybe the increased percentage of improvement and achievement in school related subject matters would entice you.

Whatever you and your child are looking for, know that the knowledgeable staff at St. Francis welcomes the opportunity to provide you affordable, educationally rich After-School care.
